Greetings in the Sweet Name of Jesus!

Thank you for visiting our web site!  It is our desire that you will be able to feel the “heart beat” of our church as you view the material we have posted.

To describe our church to someone who isn’t familiar with it is well nigh impossible.  It is an enigma because of God’s bountiful blessings.

Wheeler Grove Baptist Church is located some eight miles out of Corinth, Ms. in a community that bears the same name as the church.  Our sanctuary seats approximately 1,800 people with accompanying space for the ministries in which our church engages.  Anyone who visits will realize that ours is not a community church.  Each week our services are graced by people who come from nearby communities and towns as well as from Tennessee and Alabama.  They come, not out of convenience, but out of conviction.  The precious Holy Spirit is working here and the services are warm, alive and fruitful.  To God be the glory!

Each week our services are aired on multiple T.V. and radio stations.  Every service, including mid-week, is broadcast live; and, via video our services are seen in 113 third-world countries.  On my desk today is a letter sharing the good news of 230 salvation experiences from just one of those ministries.

My heart’s desire is to see people saved; and our church shares that burden.  It has been costly and demanding, but when I consider that God gave His only begotten Son for the souls of men, it makes me even more thankful to pastor a church that refuses to draw in the lifeline. Our radio ministry comes on the air each day announcing that I am “The Happy Pastor” of Wheeler Grove Baptist Church.  That statement has well described my ministry here for some 24 years.  I humbly ask that you pray for us.

                                                                      In Christ,

                                                                      Bro. Kara Blackard
